In her down time, Hopper has her own series on the main twitter account called ‘Hops on Hops’ where she reviews beers. Concern and support from GR fans led to both 'Hopper T' and 'Hops' trending on Twitter in the days surrounding her surgery. Thus far, she has responded remarkably well to being a 'tri-pawd,' recovering well enough to come home just one day after surgery. She’s developed arthritis in her older years and can’t run like she used to so swimming/fish watching is her main hobby these days. While they're staying in the Keys, Hops can stand out in the water for hours watching the fish and has become a bit of a local celebrity with the tour charter boats that go past the house.

Despite her sweetness, Hops has perfected a game of driving Guacamole crazy: lounging nonchalantly with a tennis ball tucked near or under one ear while Guac gazes at it covetously and barks. In podcast 129 'Inaugural RV Trip' it was reiterated that Hops doesn't get updates/airtime because she’s uncomplicated and doesn't have issues like the other dogs, and also that she was an angelic, model dog in the RV. Hopper also enjoys breaking into GR Mom's garden and placing her floofy butt on the oregano. Hopper is a founding member of Team Cronch, and despite several months of suckering roasties from GR Dad, she retains Team Cronch status today. Though the wart has since dissolved, it should be noted that its existence proves that even the most beautiful of Golden Retriever Princesses has awkward phases. She also asks for 'Second Dinner' on occasion because she believes she needs more food (she does not need it, according to GR Mom and GR Dad)Īs a puppy, Hopper developed a rather large, flowering wart on her nose which was nicknamed 'Wilfred' by GR Mom. Hopper is a diva about needing cheese on her food and is known for being 'emo'. She is mildly obsessed with a large rock located on GR Mom and Dad's vacation home in Key West (nicknamed Dwayne Johnson), and she is more than mildly obsessed with GR Dad.
